The Color Room-Palette #7

Sunday, May 23, 2010

This week's palette was a big stretch for me since I'm not a giant fan of pastels.  I do, however, enjoy how my interpretation came out.

This layout features my beautiful daughter, Megan.  This photo was taken at my mom's house on the lake.  I really love this photo and thought the natural hues in the pictures would lend itself nicely to this palette.  I apologize for the bad photo.  It's harder than you think to get the lighting right so that the colors show up as they should.

Awww! I love it, Christine! I love the small pearls accented with the bigger ones in the middle of the flowers. So pretty, just like she is. I love the name Megan, too - It's one of my favorites. (really and truly!) I don't think the coloring of the photo is off at all. I think you're over-critical of yourself, but you shouldn't be! It's very pretty. She's does look like a happy girl, too, so the title is fitting! Great memory ;-)

Thank you, Rebecca! :-) Aren't we all over critical of ourselves? Love ya!
